Finance Authority of Maine (FAME) supports the start-up, expansion and growth plans of Maine’s business community.

The Small Business Administration (SBA) is a cabinet-level federal agency created in 1953 to provide counseling, capital and contracting expertise for small businesses. Whether a business is "small" is determined according to the North American Industry Classification System Code, annual revenue and number of employees.

The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) authorizes forgivable loans to small businesses to pay their employees during the COVID-19 crisis.

The Brunswick Downtown Association is a member-driven organization of businesses and citizens who coordinate downtown Brunswick improvement projects, sponsor public programs and special events, and participate in legislative affairs.
