Most of the work of our Maine Legislature is done in committee. Every representative serves on a committee; the speaker of the House decides committee assignments. Our current representative is termed out and is now running for the Maine Senate. While in the House, she served three terms on the Education and Cultural Affairs committee, and now chairs the Innovation, Development, Economic Advancement and Business committee.
My top three choices for my committee assignment are
